Gaming report - September 26, 2008 Back to New Orleans Gamers Home Page
Roll Call: Ann, Michael, Mikey, Bob, Scott, Joe, Carol, Greg, Leona, Karl, Hilda and Eliot
On the table: Dominion, Owner's choice, Tiki Topple, Caledea
Another great turn out with 12 players and four game sessions. I was busy teaching some new games so I never got to play.
|
Greg, Scott, Bob, Joe started a game of Dominion. Dominion was new to Greg and Joe so it lasted a little longer than usual. Greg had beginner's luck in Dominion. His final score was way ahead of the other players Scoring 41 points, Greg collected 5 of the 12 provinces. |
Owner's Choice This stock market game was new to everyone except Ann. Karl won this game with $1,440. Ann ran a close second with $1,410 followed by Hilda at $1,250 and Leona at $1,040. |
|
Caledea We were pleased to welcome game designer Eliot Brown for a demo of his new game Caleda. Several of us watched the game demo but only Bob was brave enough to challenge the designer to a game. Eliot (on the right) did beat Bob but both enjoyed the game. |
Tiki Topple Players: Karl, Hilda, Greg and Ann This game is played in four rounds. Karl and Hilda dominated the game. Final Scores: Karl 28, Hilda 24, Greg 12 and Ann 12. |
