Shadows Over Camelot
Players: Jerry, Mike (Traitor), Paul, John, Keith, James &
Willard
This was my first play of this game with a traitor and as luck would
have it I was the traitor. Jerry’s
master plan of cooperation never did take off as other players differed in
their opinion of how to win the game.
Since I was the traitor I decided to make a valiant effort losing
to the Black Knight. As King
Arthur, I also passed some useful cards to other players to hide my
treacherous identity. I even
went as far as losing all but one life point since I held the card that
would add three life points to my character.
All my charades did not fool anyone.
I was labeled as the traitor although no one wanted to make a
formal acquisition.
The first quest won was excaliber but none of the other major quests
were accomplished. In the end
lack of cooperation and failure to agreed on plan did more damage that I
could have done as the traitor. The
game ended when we lost the Picts Quest and the twelfth siege engine was
placed. There were only five
white swords on the round table. We
didn’t get ratings but everyone liked the game except John.

Bang
Players: Mike (deputy), Keith (outlaw), John (outlaw), Willard
(sheriff), Paul (renegade) and James (outlaw)
Outlaws James and Keith fought each other until they were down to one hit
point each. Outlaw John,
thinking one of them had to be on the sheriff’s side, promptly killed
the other two outlaws. John
received enough cards from killing the two outlaws to almost kill the
sheriff. Meanwhile Sheriff
Willard had lit a stick of Dynamite.
The dynamite rotated around the table once before blowing Renegade
Paul to smithereens. Now John
was in trouble having to fight both the sheriff and deputy.
Deputy Mike bought John down to one life point and the Sheriff
Willard finished him off.
A win for the forces of law and order.
